OYO Music Group (OMG) was founded in 2005 as an independent music distribution company. By 2006 OMG had expanded its services to include video production, graphics and promotions. Our urban promotions team successfully worked with several major record labels on many hip-hop artist projects. And in 2007 after a great year of working on several video projects OYO Video & Graphics was strong enough to stand on its own. CEO Mazi Oyo decided to return OYO Music's focus to what it does best: Music and Promotions.

CEO Mazi Oyo has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 10 years. He has had experience working in the industry as a magazine publisher, an actor, and radio host as well as an artist manager and music producer among other things. Mr. Oyo has pretty much worn every relevant hat available in this business of music. It is this same experience that allowed Mazi to ultimately start a company that has been able to put together a team of people that can genuinely advise clients in a way that only a seasoned professional knows how, and still oversee the campaigns in a way that sometimes only an artist can appreciate.
